This is hilarious. Kay Burley is beyond parody.

SimCity: More Than Your Borders →
So the new SimCity is kind of exciting. My current laptop definitely isn’t up to gaming, but if the screenshots/reviews/gameplay videos live up to my expectations I could definitely be convinced to upgrade.

I want Pokémon BW2 news, but I can't bring myself...
It’s just so noisy. I guess I won’t miss anything as long as I keep an eye on Tumblr/reddit/4chan.

So, they just announced Pokémon Black and White 2...
They wheeled out Junichi Masuda and he was all like “these new things exist!” and then they all laughed and shouted in Japanese and then he went away. I am so confused and happy!

Oh, and while I'm posting LGBT stuff...
The latest Attitude magazine (the one with Daniel Radcliffe in a massive jumper) has an interesting special report about homophobic bullying in schools.
There are a few shocking bits, but the one that really got to me was this from Suran Dickson. She volunteers for “Diversity Role Models”, a group that gives talks in secondary schools.
I think I thought it had got better. But when...

Three Men Jailed Over Gay Hate Leaflets →
The men admitted distributing the flyers but claimed they were not “threatening” and denied they were designed to cause trouble for homosexuals.
One leaflet, entitled ‘Death Penalty?’, had an image of a mannequin hanging by the neck from a noose printed on it.

Final Destination 5 is actually really good
After the cinematic abortion that was Final Destination 4 (I refuse to call it “The Final Destination”, because it wasn’t), you could be forgiven for wanting to avoid the franchise’s latest offering.
But you shouldn’t, because it’s actually a return to form.
I’ll be honest with you. No, Nicholas “West from Heroes” D’Agosto’s...

London riot pictures →
Some great photos of the London riots, taken by redditor SuperWicked.
I’m hoping he won’t have a chance to take any more tonight, though… I normally live just down the road from where this is happening, and most of my friends are still there, so it’s a little worrying.

Poor Student's Cookbook →
This is a new site by redditor ncarducci, who wants to teach us how to make awesome meals for less than £2. I always use cost as an excuse not to cook proper food at university, so I’m going to try some of these recipes when I’m back in London.

The 8 Worst Types of Blog on the Internet →
This is the latest thing that’s made me smile on Cracked.com.
I’m pretty sure all of my blogs have been “let’s start a blog” blogs. And this one is in serious danger of turning into a parrot blog but I’ll try not to let it.

So... I'm finally Tumbling. Tumblring?...
It’s new and different, and I don’t like it.
No, in all seriousness, my big fancy-pants WordPress blog is stagnating so maybe this’ll encourage me to post once in a while.
I’m quite lazy, so short-form blogging might be right up my street.
